  Species Diversity is a very important thing and crucial in biology for many reasons.   “ Species diversity is the number of different species in a particular area and their relative abundance. The area in question could be a habitat, a biome or the entire biosphere.”   For one reason it is important to have diversity, because diverse ecosystems are more resilient to environmental changes. These environmental could be climate change or a natural disaster like flo oding or a forest fire which can happen very easily. Species diversity is also important for the food chain. As there are more food alternatives for animals, they are more likely to survive. A large variety of plants like tree plants is also very important as they store carbon and produce oxygen for better air quality .   But for species diversity there must also be species interactions. Karyotypes help us to increase our knowledge about human genetics. By looking at them scientists can see many informations of the person. But what else is so special about a so called karyotype?  Structure of a karyotype A karyotype can be seen as a picture of all the chromosomes in the cell of a person. Chromosomes carry all the genetic information, which is required for various functions and development. Typically, every human has 46 chromosomes. These are 23 pairs and contain genetic information from both mother and father. The last pair of chromosomes decides if the person is a boy or a girl as they are called the sex chromosomes. Scientists can see possible abnormalities by looking at these karyotypes. How can we see those chromosomes? How does photosynthesis work?

  We may n ot notice it and not everybody knows the importance of it , but Photos ynthesis is ve ry important for everyone to get to their energy. Photosynthesis is t aking plac e nearly all the time. Even now while writing this blog post, plants and other organisms may transform light energy into chemical energy.   But how does this work and where does it take pl ace? To answer this question, the structure of a cell should be clear to anyone , because not every cell can do photosynthesis . Only cells with chloroplasts can do photosynthesis . These are plant cells. But to perform photosynthesis you need more than just a plant cell. Sunlig ht, carbon dioxide and water are needed to start the process of photosynthesis. Once everything is given, the cell starts the process in the chloroplast in the form of light reactions and the Calvin cycle.
